Judith Alnett

A reading group with a difference. No pens, no paper, no advance reading – like a book club, but without the ‘homework’!

Join author Judith Allnatt for weekly meetings discovering stories and poems and discussing how writers weave their effects. Humorous or serious, moving or thought-provoking - new texts will be presented each session for sheer enjoyment.

Judith Allnatt is a fiction writer, poet and experienced tutor.  Her novels have been featured as a Radio 5 Book of the Month and shortlisted for the East Midlands Book Award and the Portico Prize for Literature. Her short fiction and poetry has been listed for many awards including the Commonwealth Short Story Award, Bridport Prize, Radio 4 Showcase and the National Poetry Competition. She has worked widely as a Writer in Residence and has most recently served as a Royal Literary Fund Fellow.

This friendly group, sponsored by the Royal Literary Fund, is free and open to all and will meet on Wednesdays 10.30-12 am at MK Gallery during school term time from 15 September. To find out more and reserve your place please contact Judith at judith.allnatt@rlfeducation.org.uk
