A guide for the gin curious

6.30pm for a 6.45pm start (finishes aprox. 8.45pm)

The gin phenomenon just keeps growing, and in a world where a new "craft"/local/fruit flavour gin launches every week, our Drinks Club will lead you through a botanical-laden tasting to explore such vital questions as:

•    Where did gin come from?

•    What does London Dry actually mean on a gin bottle?

•    Why does gin have a bad reputation for ruining mothers?

•    When is a drink labelled gin, perhaps not really a gin?

•    Does gin make people depressed?

Our Drinks Club ambassadors Alison and Tom will lead a tutored tasting of some of the key styles, from Dutch Genever to Plymouth, from Old Tom to Navy Gin. We will share the skills of how to judge a gin and define what you like.

Join us for a relaxed and interactive evening, tasting and telling stories of some of our favourite and intriguing gins. We will try 8 tasting samples, including Milton Keynes local Willow Tree gin.
