Join our brilliant volunteer tour guides for an informal exploration of LS Lowry The Theatre of Life to discuss the context and themes of the exhibition.

Our tours are free only with an exhibition ticket, please book onto the tour as well as purchasing your exhibition ticket separately.

This significant solo exhibition of the work of Laurence Stephen Lowry (1887 – 1976) marks the 50th anniversary of the painter’s death, and 13 years since his last significant institutional temporary exhibition Lowry and the Painting of Modern Life at Tate Britain. Lowry was a British painter, best known for his industrial landscapes of northwest England.
