Join us for a fascinating talk by Professor Iain Borden on his long term research into skateboarding and the urban environment. This event is part of ongoing programme of public art, architecture, urban design, and place-making talks running throughout 2017 as part of Citylab.

Iain Borden is Professor of Architecture and Urban Culture at The Bartlett, UCL. He is the author and co-editor of over a dozen books on architecture and cities, including Skateboarding Space and the City: Architecture and the Body (Berg, new edition forthcoming) and Drive: Journeys through Film, Cities and Landscapes (Reaktion). He advises on skateboarding culture and skateparks, as well as being an active skateboarder for 40 years.
