SEND Exhibition Tour | To Improvise A Mountain: Lynette Yiadom-Boakye Curates

Accessible Events

6 December 2025 - 10 January 2026

Our award-winning SEND Tours are designed specifically for visitors with additional and complex needs, alongside their families, friends, and companions. All ages welcome.

Join specialist artist Julia Collar in exploring our current exhibition To Improvise A Mountain: Lynette Yiadom-Boakye Curates. Julia will take you on an exciting sensory filled journey, with different elements of touch, sound, movement and play.

“It was really cool because I was in the gallery being me and no one minded. Julia is really fun”. (Tour participant)

Makaton is used throughout to support communication and our Inclusion team will support participation, alongside Julia. A Social Story can be downloaded below to help you prepare for your visit.

Tours start and finish in MK Gallery’s Event Space, where there is a comfy break out space and families can safely leave bags and coats.
