Our Relaxed Exhibition Viewings are quiet hours tailored to support visitors with neurodivergence, inclusive of communication or sensory needs, autism and learning disabilities.

Sensory Scout Kits are available on entry to the Gallery with ear defenders and sensory aids included. The hand dryers in the toilets are switched off and tickets are limited to reduce the number of people in the galleries.

Experience in-depth visual descriptions, alongside hand-held and touch elements of key works from our current exhibition Saul Leiter: An Unfinished World. These two events will be led by trained audio-described tour guides Robin Clements (19 March) and Julia Collar (21 May), and are suitable for those who are blind or partially sighted, and their companions.

These screenings have sensory-friendly adjustments which aim to reduce over-stimulation and create a relaxed and welcoming environment. Tickets are limited to reduce the number of people in the cinema and visitors are free to move around the space as needed. No trailers are shown and the hand dryers in the Sky Room toilets are switched off. Sensory Scout Kits, inclusive of ear defenders, will be available upon arrival.
