About Relaxed Screenings

Relaxed Screenings have sensory-friendly adjustments which aim to reduce over-stimulation and create a relaxed and welcoming environment for those who might need it. These particularly appeal to autistic, learning disabled and neurodivergent visitors, along with their friends, family, or support. Relaxed screenings include the following adjustments:
  • Tickets are limited to reduce the number of people in the cinema
  • Visitors are free to move around the space as needed
  • No trailers are shown
  • The hand dryers in the Sky Room toilets are switched off
  • Lighting is kept at a slightly higher level
  • Opening and closing slides to the film are played to support transition
